BACKLIGHT The backlight for the display can be set to 4 different brightness levels. Use
the arrow keys to adjust.
RATE GYRO If a TM84.37 is fitted or a TM86.26 rate gyro has been fitted as an optional
attachment, the gyro function is turned on or off via the arrow keys.
HELM ADJUST
For best overall performance, it is important that the displayed rudder
angle be adjusted to read zero when the helm is dead ahead. This
adjustment compensates for errors in the transducer linkage and
other offsets in the steering gear. The current helm angle is
displayed and should read 00 at the centre. Use the arrow keys to
trim the reading.
HEADING ADJUST The current fluxgate heading is displayed and compass mounting
errors may be compensated using the arrow keys.
