These products are intended for use in industrial
compressed air systems only. Do not use these products
where pressures and temperatures can exceed those listed
under Technical Data.
Before using these products with fluids other than air,
for nonindustrial applications, or for life-support systems
consult Norgren.

INSTALLATION
1. Install valve in air line with air flow in direction of arrow
on body. Use pipe thread sealant on male threads only.
Do not allow sealant to enter interior of valve.
2. The slide can be padlocked in the closed position only. If
desired, install a customer supplied padlock in the 5mm
(0.19") diameter hole in the slide.
DISASSEMBLY
1. Shut off inlet pressure. Reduce pressure in inlet and
outlet lines to zero.
2. Remove the valve from the air line. Disassemble in
general accordance with the item numbers on exploded
view.
CLEANING
1. Clean all parts with warm water and soap.
2. Dry and inspect parts. Replace parts found to be
damaged.
REASSEMBLY
1. Lubricate o-rings and center area of both sides of slide
(4) with o-ring grease. Assemble valve as shown on the
exploded view. The blade must be installed with the
words OPEN and CLOSED facing the inlet port. The
T72E valve uses o-ring (5) in the inlet and outlet bodies.
The T72B and T72T valves use o-ring (5) in the inlet
body, and seal (6) in the outlet body.
