TROUBLE POSSIBLE CAUSE POSSIBLE REMEDY
Spindle Leaking Damaged oil seal Replace seal.
Bent shaft. Replace oil seal and shaft.
Shaft rough in oil seal area. Replace or repair shaft.
Oil seal installed wrong. Replace seal.
Oil seal not sealing Replace seal or use a sealant on
in the housing. OD of Seal.
Hole in housing. Replace housing or Asy.
Gasket damaged. Replace gasket.
Bolts loose. Tighten bolts.
Motor Seal Leaking Replace Motor Seal
Knives Wear Too Fast Cutting in sandy conditions. Increase cutting height.
Cutting in rocky conditions. Increase cutting height.
Soft “will fit” blades. Use genuine Alamo Industrial blades.
Hydraulic Cylinder Seal in the cylinder Replace Seal.
Oil Leakage is worn out.
Hydraulic Cylinder Will Not Air in Hoses/Cylinder Continue engaging lever until
oil fills hoses & cylinders
Not enough pressure. Pressure test tractor valve
Valve not connected properly Re-plumb valve.
