6.10.3 Example 3
– Calibration of four wires RTD’s
A 4-wire RTD can be calibrated by using the method of comparison, connecting it to the input (IN
A) as a DUT (Device Under Test) and comparing it with a reference RTD connected to the other
input (IN B) as REF (Reference),
In this way the two measures can be compared, the calculated error is reported on the calibration
report.
The figure below shows the connection of the calibrator
