INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
Pendant fixture is compatible with Odyssey Line Voltage Flexible
Track, Magellan Low Voltage Flexible Track, Symphony Low Voltage
Mini-Track, Line Voltage Track, and mono-point ceiling canopies.
Pendant fixture has a 59" transparent coaxial wire with silicone
insulation and includes fingerglass, ring tool and allen wrench.
Select the appropriate fixture adapter for your lighting needs.
Insert fixture into adapter and twist ring to tighten (Figure 1).
Connect the Quick Release pendant to the lighting system.
SHORTENING PENDANT CABLE LENGTH
1. Separate and pull apart the Quick Disconnect Connection,
both pin and sleeve.
2. Loosen the #0 Philips head screw. Slide the Coaxial Cord Grip
and Suspension Tab toward the socket and out of the way.
3. Loosen the 1.5mm Allen Screw in the Quick Disconnect Plug.
4. Pull the Coaxial Cable out of the Quick Disconnect Plug.
5. Subtract 1-5/8" from the desired Mounting Length to calculate
the Cut Cable Length “C” as in the illustration. Cut the Coaxial
Cable to the required length “C”. Use a coaxial cable cutting tool
if available.
6. Cut and strip away the outer silicone insulation by 1/2". Push
the braided wire beneath the silicone insulation.
7. Cut and strip away the inner plastic jacket by 3/16".
8. Re-assemble pendant by following these steps in reverse.
SHADE ASSEMBLY
Lock-Fit pendants capture the shade by holding the glass from
above and below the socket.
The socket assembly has a 1-1/16" flange; the glass shades
have 15/16" or 1-13/16" top openings. For the 15/16" Shade,
slide the glass onto the Lock-Fit Assembly, then the Fiber Washer
and Lock Nut. Use the Lock Nut Tool to tighten and secure the
Lock Nut. The Silver Finish Washer can be discarded. For the
1-13/16" shade, the Silver Finish Washer go around the threaded
socket of the Lock Fit Assembly before the glass shade, followed
by the Fiber Washer and Lock Nut. Use the Lock Nut Tool to
tighten and secure the Lock Nut. The Finger Glass Cover should
only be used with T4 Halogen lamps; do not use the Finger
Glass Cover with low pressure Halogen or Xenon lamps.
Socket Extenders: To maximize lamp position with larger shades,
socket extenders are available to lower the lamp by increments
of 2" or 4" for better light distribution within the pendant shade.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Read all the instructions before installation. Save instructions for
later use.
• Turn off power at fuse or circuit breaker box before installation or
before doing any maintenance work.
• Product must be grounded to avoid potential electric shock and
any other potential hazards.
• Product must be mounted in locations and at heights and in a
manner consistent with its intended use, and in compliance with
National Electrical Code and local codes. Use of accessory
equipment is not recommended.
• Installing contrary to instructions may cause unsafe conditions.
• Warning: Risk of fire. Most dwellings built before 1985 have supply
wire rated at 60°C. Consult a qualified electrician before installation.
• To avoid hazards to children, account for all parts and properly
dispose of all packing materials.
