Loading the Data Cartridge
Due to static the label or other items included in this
package will occasionally cling to the DLT cartridge.
Before loading into a drive, ensure that all other items from
this package are separated from the cartridge.
Never press in on the hub portion of the data cartridge.
Step 1 If you are planning to write data to, or erase data
from, the cartridge, make sure the
Write-Protect switch
on the cartridge is in the write-enabled position (all
the way to the right).
A data cartridge can only be loaded when the Operate
Handle LED is ON. Do not attempt to open the Cartridge
Insert/Release Handle unless this LED is ON steady.
Step 2 Lift up on the Cartridge Insert/Release Handle .
