System Requirements
To successfully install and operate the VGP-XL1B, the host com-
puter must meet the following minimum system requirements:
• Host computer running Microsoft ® Windows ® XP Media Center
Edition (MCE) 2005 with Update Rollup 2.
• Additional operating system software: Microsoft ® .NET
Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.
• i.LINK ® /FireWire (IEEE1394) port
• 500MB 1 of free hard disk space
Update Rollup 2
During the installation of the included Sony ® Software CD, an auto-
matic check will be made for Windows
®
Update Rollup 2. If found,
the install process will continue. If Update Rollup 2 is not found,
you will need to visit the Windows Update web site to download
this update onto your system.
