Trouble Shooting
Media Issues
Supported Media Types
CD-R,CD-RW, DVD+/- R, DVD+/- RW, DVD+/- R/RW, DUAL
LAYER, Redbook Audio CDs, Movie DVDs (U.S. is default)
Unsupported Media Types
All other media types (Do not insert Blu-ray, mini-DVDs, odd-
shaped discs, etc.) Note: DualDisc™ media is not supported.
Hardware Issues
Event:
Changer does not function properly after initial installation.
Comment:
• Make sure the i.LINK
®
cable is properly connected to the host
computer and the Changer.
• Make sure your PC is running Microsoft
®
Windows
®
XP Media
Center Edition 2005
• Verify that system program Update Rollup 2 is on the host com-
puter.
• Verify that you have downloaded all critical and optional Win-
dows Updates to the host computer. (http:\\www.windowsup-
date.com) Then restart the installation with the included
software CD.
