Smart Telecon./Zoom
Selects which function to use when [Smart Telecon./Zoom] is assigned to a button.
1. MENU
3 [Smart Telecon./Zoom] desired mode
Smart Telecon. Uses the smart teleconverter.
Zoom Uses the zoom.
Zooming in one step (Smart teleconverter)
Smart teleconverter allows you to shoot magnified images, by magnifying the center of the image.
1. MENU
3 [Func. of C Button], [Func. of AEL button], [Func. of Left Button], [Func. of
Right Button] or [Func. of Down Button] select [Smart Telecon./Zoom].
2. Press the button to which the [Smart Telecon./Zoom] function has been assigned.
Each time you press the button, the zoom scale changes as follows:
Approx. 1.4× Approx. 2.0× Off
Depending on the zoom scale, the image size is set as follows:
Zoom scaling Image size
Approx. 1.4× M or S
Approx. 2.0× S
Notes
You cannot use smart teleconverter in the following situations:
In [Sweep Panorama] mode
When [Quality] is set to [RAW] or [RAW & JPEG]
When using smart teleconverter, [Metering Mode] is set to [Multi].
Smart teleconverter is not available when recording movies.
