Please observe the following warning notes
when handling batteries:

Danger
Danger of explosion. Do not put tools or
similar on the battery, i.e. on the terminal
poles and cell connectors.
Risk of injury. Ensure that wounds never
come into contact with lead. Always clean
your hands after having worked with batteries.
The BAT package model contains built-in
batteries.
Î
Unscrew the locking screw of the bat-
tery cover.
Î
Tilt the battery cover backwards.
Î
Push the lock of the battery insert to-
wards the left and tilt it downward.
Î
Pull the battery insert towards the rear.
Î
Place the batteries in the trough of the
battery insert.
Î
Connect poles with the enclosed con-
necting cables.

Warning
Pay attention to correct poles.
Î
Connect the connection cable to the
free battery poles (+) and (-).
Î
Push the battery insert towards the
front.
Î
Lock in the battery insert lock.

Warning
Charge the battery before commissioning
the machine.
Î
If the light bars on the left side of the bat-
tery display are blinking, then drive the
device directly to the charging station;
avoid steep climbing while doing so.

Danger
Risk of electric shock. Observe supply net-
work and fuse protection - see "Charger".
Only use the charger in dry rooms with suf-
ficient ventilation!
Note
Average charging time is approx. 10 hours.
The recommended chargers (matching the
batteries used) are regulated electronically
and will automatically switch off the charg-
ing process.

Danger of explosion. Wet batteries can only
be charged with opened battery cover.

Unscrew the locking screw of the bat-
tery cover.

Tilt the battery cover backwards.

Remove battery plug and join it to the
Operator console
