Introduction
Thank you for your purchase of a FJ-CP1 fi eld jacket for compatible Nikon
digital cameras. The FJ-CP1 is waterproof to a depth of 3 m (9 ft. 10 in.), al-
lowing pictures to be taken underwater or in mist and rain. This manual has
been written to help you enjoy taking pictures using the FJ-CP1. Keep this
manual where all those who use the product will read it, and be sure to read
both it and the camera manual thoroughly before use.

Take the FJ-CP1 and accessories out of the box and check that the package
contains all the following items:

The supplied fl oat keeps the FJ-CP1 from sinking if accidentally dropped in water.
After attaching the strap to the FJ-CP1, attach the fl oat to the strap as shown
above. The fl oat should always be attached for underwater photography.
