Overview
The AT-LMC100 Series Ethernet Media Converters include the following
models:

The AT-LMC100 Series Ethernet Media Converters are designed to extend
the distance of your network by interconnecting LAN devices that are
physically separated by long distances. These media converters have the
functionality to connect any managed/unmanaged 100Mbps switch or hub
using standard 100Base-TX RJ-45 connections and convert the signal to
100Base-FX fiber.
Each AT-LMC100 Series media converter features a 100Base-TX twisted pair
port and a 100Base-FX fiber optic port. The twisted pair port has an RJ-45
connector and a maximum operating distance of 100 meters (328 feet). The
fiber optic port has a multi-mode ST or SC connector and a maximum
operating distance of 2 kilometers (1.2 miles). These units operate at 100
Mbps and feature half- and full-duplex operation.
The media converters can be installed on a desktop or in an AT-MCR12
chassis. The AT-LMC100 Series Media Converters are easy to install and do
not require any software configuration or management. Figure 1 and Figure 2
display the front panel of the AT-LMC100 Series Media Converters.
