Security
Use the Security menu to lock your phone, set up emergency
numbers, enable or disable voice privacy, set restrictions, and
more.
Lock phone
Locking your phone prevents all outgoing calls, except 911
emergency calls, until you enter the (un)lock code. With the
phone in lock mode, you can, however, answer incoming
calls.
1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( ) Menu , then
press , for Security . You’re prompted to enter
the lock code. The default lock code is the last four digits
of your telephone number.

Lock Phone . The options listed in the
following table appear in the display.
3. Use the navigation key to highlight the Lock Phone option
you want.
4. Press to select the option.
Option Function
Never The phone remains unlocked.
On power up
The phone locks automatically the next time your
phone is powered on and stays locked until you
enter the lock code.
Now
The phone locks immediately and stays locked
until you enter the lock code.
