Batteries
B ATTERIES
For best results, use batteries of the following types:
Battery life can be greatly extended by using the view-
finder (not the LCD) to frame images and the optional
Agfa AC adapter to power the camera.
To install the batteries:
◗ Slide the Mode switch to OFF.
◗ Push the button on the battery compartment door and slide the
door towards the front of the camera to open it.
◗ Insert the four batteries as shown in the battery compartment.
◗ Close the battery compartment door.
Battery Conditions
The battery icon is displayed on the Status Display and, when you
press
, on the color LCD. Segments disappear as power is used.
When only an outline displays, replace the batteries as soon as pos-
sible. A flashing icon indicates that the batteries are empty. You can-
not use the camera until you replace the batteries.
