Manual Equalizer Control
You can adjust following Equalizer Control items.
Band Item Range
“BAND1” (62.5 Hz) “GAIN” Band level -9 –+9 dB
“EFCT” Bass Effect “ON”/ “OFF”
“BAND2” (250 Hz) “GAIN” Band level -9 –+9 dB
“BAND3” (1 kHz) “GAIN” Band level -9 –+9 dB
“BAND4” (4 kHz) “GAIN” Band level -9 –+9 dB
“BAND5” (16 kHz) “GAIN” Band level -9 –+9 dB
( : Factory setting)

Select the source
Press the [SRC] button. Turn the [VOL] knob and
press it when the desired item is displayed.
Select a source other than “STANDBY”.
✍ SRC Select mode 2: Pressing the [SRC] button
repeatedly switches source.

Enter Audio Control mode
Press the [VOL] knob.

Enter Manual Equalizer Control mode
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.
Select “Equalizer”
> “Manual Equalizer”.

Select the item you want to set
Operation type Operation
Selects the item. Turn the [VOL] knob.
Adjust each item. Press the [
4] or [¢] button.
Set the value Press the [VOL] button.

Exit Audio Control mode
Press the [MENU] button for at least 1 second,
and then press it again briefly.

• When “iPod” is selected in the section
curve Select> (page 37) , Manual Equalizer Control is
disabled.
• You can select for each source.
Preset Equalizer curve Select
You can select following Equalizer curve.

“Jazz” Jazz
“Game” Game
“iPod” iPod (During iPod source only)

desired item is displayed.
Select “Equalizer”
> “Preset Equalizer”.

Select the Equalizer curve
Press the [

✍ Select the iPod Equalizer curve
You can select from 22 Equalizer curve types for
iPod when “iPod” is selected.
1. Enter iPod Equalizer mode
Press the [VOL] knob.
2. Select the iPod Equalizer curve
Press the [
4] or [¢] button and press it
when the desired item is displayed.

Exit Audio Control mode
