Auto tuning

1 Select Auto tuning or Manual tuning.
2 Select a station.
When the station is tuned, "TUNED" lights up on the display. If you are re-
ceiving a stereo signal, "ST." also lights up.
Using Auto tuning „
The radio automatically tunes in to the next station each time you press
the key. Repeat this step until you are tuned in to your preferred station.
Using Manual tuning „
Press the key until the desired station is tuned or until you reach the de-
sired frequency.
Press the [TUNING MODE]
The mode changes as shown below each time you press the key.
Choosing from stations that are not preset (Auto/ Manual Tuning)
Press the [G/I] or [J/H] key.
There is no sound while Auto/Manual tuning is in progress. z
Auto tuning provides stereo reception while manual tuning provides z
monaural reception.
The display changes as shown below each time you press the z [DISPLAY] key.
FM:
Program service name R Preset No. R Day/Clock
When the program service name is not stored:
Preset No. R “NO PS” R Day/Clock
AM:
Preset No. R Day/Clock
[AUTO/MONO] key.
Press the [TUNINGI /J] key.
