iPod Operations of Remote Control
3 Search for music/video
Operation type Operation
Movement between items Press the [ 5] or [∞] button.
Selection of item Press the [ENTER] or [ 3] button.
Return to previous item Press the [ 2] or [MENU] button.
Return to Top menu Press the [TOP MENU] button.
Cancelling the Search mode Press the [RETURN] button.

• An image is displayed in the category list when a playing
song has artwork with “MENU” > “iART” (page 11) of the
set to ON.
• It takes some seconds to read artwork. You cannot
operate during the read operation.
To select a playback mode
1 Show the Playback mode selection screen
Press the [OSD] button.
2 Select a playback mode
Press the [ 2] or [3] button.
“REPEAT”/ “RANDOM”/ “AUDIO BOOK”
3 Select an item
Press the [ 5] or [∞] button.
“REPEAT”: File repeat (“ONE”), All repeat (“ALL”), and
repeat off (“OFF”).
“RANDOM”: Song random (“SONGS”), Album
random* (“ALBUMS”), and random off
(“OFF”).
“AUDIO BOOK”: Normal speed (“NORMAL”), Faster
speed (“FASTER”), and Slower speed
(“SLOWER”).
4 Press the [ENTER] button

• * Functions only if you select “All Albums” or “All” in
“Albums” of the main “MENU”.
Before Use
• Video output setting of iPod needs to be set on
your iPod.
• Turn on the monitor to watch the playback picture.
If you turn on the monitor, you can also control
playback of other discs by referring to the monitor
screen.
• Set the remote controller mode switch to “DVD”
mode before starting operation, refer to Controller mode switch> (page 30).
Playing the iPod
Connecting the iPod
“READING” appears in the display, and playback
starts automatically.
Playing or pausing
Press the [ 38] button.
Stopping the play
Press the [ 7] button.
Searching for a chapter/ scene/ track/ file
Press the [ 4] or [¢] button.
Fast Forwarding or Fast Backwarding
Press the [ 1] or [¡] button.
