Starting the Repository

During installation, the Repository is configured to come up automatically when the Neoview
platform starts.

By default, statistics are collected for queries, sessions, processing nodes, and tables but not
processes. The same Repository configuration can support ODBC query statistics, query runtime
statistics, or both. By default, both ODBC query statistics and query runtime statistics are collected.

NOTE:

For support of query runtime statistics, Neoview Workload Management Services

(WMS) must also be running. It is installed and started by default in Release 2.3. For more
information, see the Neoview Workload Management Services Guide.

To enhance your configuration to collect and store information about processes, or to enable or
disable support for ODBC query statistics or query runtime statistics, contact your account
representative.
