NOTE:
Granular Recovery Extension for Microsoft SharePoint Server uses the same procedure
for recovery of different objects. The recovery procedure does not depend on the backup
type.
Considerations
It is recommended to restore content databases bigger than 10 GB from VSS
transportable backup.
If you have configured VSS transportable backup using ZDB to disk + tape, Granular
Recovery Extension for Microsoft SharePoint Server selects the content database
version from disk for restore.
