12 Uninstalling software products and features
This chapter lists the various methods to uninstall Insight software products and features.
Uninstalling Insight software
To uninstall all Insight software products, follow these steps:
1. On your Windows desktop, select Start
→All Programs→HP Insight Software→Uninstall HP Insight
Software
2. Click Yes to confirm that you want to remove the product.
The Insight software uninstaller program performs dependency checking for other products that might
be dependent on Insight software. Only those components that were installed by the HP Insight Software
Installer wizard are uninstalled. A status window enables you to monitor the progress of components
as they are uninstalled.
Uninstalling Insight Control server migration
To uninstall Insight Control server migration, select the following menu items from your Windows desktop:
Start
→All Programs→HP Insight Software→HP Insight Control server migration→Uninstall HP

Uninstalling Insight Control performance management
To uninstall Insight Control performance management, select the following menu items from your Windows
desktop:
Start
→All Programs→HP Insight Software→Uninstall HP Insight Control performance manager
Uninstalling Insight Control power management
To uninstall Insight Control power management, select the following menu items from your Windows desktop:
Start
→Programs→HP Insight Software→Insight Control power management→Uninstall
Uninstalling HP Systems Insight Manager
To uninstall HP Systems Insight Manager from your Windows desktop, select Start
→All Programs→HP
Insight Software
→Uninstall HP Systems Insight Manager
Uninstalling individual components
If you want to remove a software component without the dependency checking of the Insight software uninstall
process, or if you did not install the software with the HP Insight Software Installer, you can uninstall individual
components separately using the Add/Remove Programs Windows application.
