3-5-1 Overview

Search Process/Program text box at the top right allows you to specify the following selection criteria
and retrieve a list of matching processes.
3-5-2 Description
Wildcards can be specified in the Process name or Program name.
Process name – Search on the process name.
Example:
$ZTN0 - searches for $ZTN0 process.
$ZTN* - searches for all processes with process name beginning with $ZTN.
Process name must be 1 to 5 alphanumeric characters preceded by ‘$’.
Program name – Search processes by specifying a fully or partially qualified Guardian
program file name.
Example:
POCKETVP – searches for the program POCKETVP in the current volume-
subvolume.
$DATA. ZPVPH02.WEBVPT5 – searches for program WEBVPT5 in volume $DATA
and subvolume ZPVPH02
POCKET* - searched for all programs with program name beginning with POCKET in
the current volume-subvolume.
Note: Using Wildcards may increases the response time.
