External storage drives
The MSA20 drives for the DL100 G2 3TB and 6TB are configured for
hardware RAID fault tolerance using the HP Smart Array 6402 RAID
Controller. The HDDs are hot-pluggable and hot-swappable.
The logical drives are configured as RAID 5 volumes, and partitioned with
two RAID 5 logical partitions. A total of two or four RAID 5 backup data
partitions are available for the DPM software, depending on the model.
