A printer will always be in one of a defined set of Encrypted Disk States based on drive configuration.
Each of the Encrypted Disk States will correlate to a set of EWS text strings and configuration options.

No drive Installed, Drive Password not set.
NSDPN
Non-FDE installed, printer is not configured to use FDE
functions.
SDUPN
FDE installed, however has not been configured to work in
locked mode.
SDLPC
Locked FDE installed. Drive is functioning properly.
SDLPW
Locked FDE installed, however printer does not have correct
password.
NSDPP
Non-FDE installed, however printer is expecting a locked FDE
instead.
SDUPP
FDE installed, however it is locked to a different printer.
NDIPP
No Drive Installed, Drive Password set.
SDLPN
Locked FDE installed, however printer has not been configured
to use FDE.

The Perform Secure Storage Erase button erases the entire contents of the selected permanent
storages.
WARNING!
When you click Perform Secure Storage Erase, the device will restart, and all data and
solutions installed on permanent storages you selected will be completely destroyed. Storage
information that will be erased includes 3rd party applications, stored print jobs, hold jobs.
