Setting Your Phone’s Roam Mode
Your Sprint PCS Vision Phone allows you to control your ability to
roam. By using the Roaming menu option, you can determine which
signals your phone accepts.
Set Mode
Choose from three different settings on your phone to control your
roaming experience:
1. Press (Menu) to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings ( ).
3. Select Roaming ( ).
4. Select Set Mode ( ).
5. To select an option, highlight it and press (OK) to save.
Ⅲ Sprint PCS Only: This setting allows you to access the
enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network only and
prevents roaming on other networks.
Ⅲ Automatic: This setting seeks Sprint PCS Service.
When Sprint PCS Service is unavailable, the phone
searches for an alternate system.
Ⅲ Analog: This setting forces the phone to seek an analog
roaming system. The previous setting (Sprint PCS Only or
Automatic) is restored the next time the phone is turned on.
