Enabling closed captions
Home screen > Setup > Advanced > Closed
Caption Enable
This function allows you to display closed
captions when they are available with the input
signal.
* Closed captioning displays TV program or
movie conversations, narrations, sound
effects, etc. as text on the screen. (When
available for TV programs, "CC" is usually
displayed on the screen.)
Selecting the closed caption channel
Home screen > Setup > Advanced > Closed
Caption Channel
This function allows you to select the closed
caption channel.
Off Do not used closed
captioning.
On When closed captioning is
available, text is displayed on
the screen.
CC1 Channel 1
* Channel 1 is the first
language for the area.
CC2 Channel 2
CC3 Channel 3
CC4 Channel 4
