As válvulas de balanceamento são dispositivos hidráulicos que permitem
regular com precisão o caudal do fluído termovector que alimenta os
terminais de uma instalação.
Um caudalímetro, montado em by-pass no corpo da válvula e que poderá
ser excluído durante o funcionamento normal, permite controlar o caudal
sem o auxílio de manómetros diferenciais e de gráficos de regulação.

Strangregelventielen zijn hydraulische toestellen waarmee het debiet van
het warmtedragend medium naar de eindgroepen van een installatie,
nauwkeurig kan worden ingeregeld.
Met de debietmeter, die in de bypass op het ventiellichaam is
geïntegreerd, en die tijdens de normale werking van de installatie kan
worden uitgeschakeld, kan men het debiet controleren zonder hulp van
differentiaalmanometers en kalibratiegrafieken.
