If this distance cannot be maintained, a false echo storage
should be carried out during setup. This applies particularly if
buildup on the vessel wall is expected. In this case, we
recommend repeating the false echo storage later on with
existing buildup.

In vessels with conical bottom it can be advantageous to align
the sensor to the center of the vessel, as measurement is then
possible down to the lowest points of the vessel bottom.
