3. In the Alarm Mapping Definition area, select a tag from the Call Origin pane and select

an alarm from the Avigilon Alarm to Trigger pane.

4. Click Ok.

The selected tag and alarm is mapped together and now appears in the Alarm

Mappings area.

5. Repeat step 3 to 5 until all the alarms you require are mapped.

6. (optional) Select the Acknowledge Avigilon alarms on call termination check box if

the Avigilon alarms do not need to be manually acknowledged within the Avigilon
Control Center Client each time.

7. Click Save.

Backing Up Mapped Alarms

After you finish mapping all the alarms in the Avigilon Jacques Gateway, you can choose to back
up a copy of the mappings.

1. Navigate to

C:\Program Files\Avigilon\Avigilon Jacques Gateway\.

NOTE: The filepath may be different depending on how your system is configured.

2. Copy and paste the

GatewayParams.xml file to a back up location.

Restoring Mapped alarms

When you have a backup copy of the mapped alarms, you can restore the integration to use the

back up copy any time.

1. Open the Avigilon Jacques Gateway configuration application to stop the Gateway

Windows service.

2. Locate your backup copy of the

GatewayParams.xml file.
