Increase the vertical motion of
the puck (about 2 to 3 inches or
5.0 to 7.6 cm).
On the display screen, make
sure the bar on the chest
compression gauge extends into
the area between the lower two
lines.
• Unit emits spaced tones as a
guide for performing chest
compressions at the proper
rate.

The following prompt is optional:

CONTINUE CPR
(or IF NO PULSE
CONTINUE CPR)

STOP CPR
Put the puck down and turn off the AED Pro unit.
Disconnect the universal adapter cable from the AED Pro unit.

Wait 10 seconds and then turn
on the AED Pro unit.

Check the expiration date on the
previously connected
defibrillation electrodes.
If the electrodes have not
expired, reconnect them to the
unit; otherwise, connect a fresh
package of defibrillation
electrodes.

(or PEDIATRIC PADS)
Turn off the AED Pro unit.

After 90 seconds, check the
Ready indicator on the unit.
• The Ready indicator shows a
green check.
