and repeat if not acknowledged
up to three times.

Buffer size
146 Specifies the size of
message frames in bytes
sent on LON.
If routers separate IQLs,
LINCs, LONCs and have
buffer size smaller that 146
bytes - set to smallest buffer
size. (min = 66)

Message code
64 Code number used by IQLs,
LINCs, LONCs, all LINCs/
LONCs must use same code.
If message code being
used by other users - must
be exclusive to IQ System.

messaging
0 Setting to 1 enables LCI to
send and receive L ON W ORKS
message frames in encoded
format. 0=disabled, 1=enabled.
If using with special native
messaging software tools.

0 Setting to one causes LCI to
send service PIN message to
Lon and set itself back to 0.
To generate message to
install on LMT, or to identify
LCI to system.

O Setting to I turns on the LCI’s
LON terminator
Only turn ON if experiencing
communications problems.
The Lon terminator can also
be turned ON by pressing
the Lon Terminator button.
TARP I Setting to O turns TARP
OFF
Set to O in most situations.
If there is one or more,
LINC or LNC2 on the Lon
section, there could be IQs
on attached Lan(s) and their
addresses can only be found
by using TARP and so TARP
should be set to I. LCIs,
LINCs and LNC2s which
do not share the same Lon
section do not need TARP, so
TARP should be set to O
z - Reset Node
Flag
When set to 1 the LCI resets
and clears the node status
and comms statistics. When
set to 2 the node status and
comms statistics are cleared.
Set to required value to
reset information.
