User’s Manual BPT User Interface
• Legend button — The Legend button opens the Legend, which lists the test names and
contains the Test Status key. The test names come from the “TEST: Test Name” section
in the headers of the individual script files that are listed in the
[Tests] section of the
initialization file, BPT.ini. The Test Status key displays possible testing states that might
be shown in the Results area during and after test execution.
• Operation buttons — These buttons provide access to the Start, Stop, Pause, and
Resume test operations.
3.2 Results Area
The Results area (Figure 3-2) is empty unless device addresses and test files are designated
in the file BPT.ini.
Note: If the Run Mode has been defined as Inquiry in BPT.ini, then the Results area is blank until an inquiry
is executed by BPT.
If these things have been specified, then information about the devices and the tests is shown
(as in Figure 3-1).
The following information is displayed in the Results area:
• Device — This column lists the BD_ADDRs of the devices that are listed in BPT.ini or
that were found via an inquiry.
• Test Names — These columns list the names of the tests that will be run for each device
under test. The tests are specified in the initialization file BPT.ini.
