PERIODIC CHECK OF DOSIMETERS
Services
PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION OF CHECK/
CALIBRATION SERVICE
Our service comprises:
●
Visual inspection and functional sorting of the instru-
ments as from receipt of the batches
●
Functional check
●
Check of the measurement for compliance with the
manufacturer’s recommendations and adjustment
of the instruments out of tolerances (if required by
customer)
●
Systematic replacement of battery
●
Affixing of a validity label
●
Provision of a check report/calibration certificate
●
Packaging and return shipping
Any failed, damaged or non-adjustable instruments are
isolated and subjected to an investigation and a repair
estimate.
METHOD
Service provided according to an internal method using
a specific dosimeter calibrator
OPTIONALLY
Mirion Technologies (MGPI) SA manages the dosimeter
population through an organization which allows for:

guaranteed management of the statutory lead times
for checking all the instruments made available to
users
●
permanent availability of operative and checked dosi-
meters
●
upgraded population
●
permanent information concerning the number of ins-
truments making up the population as well as relevant
assignments
IF NECESSARY
Mirion Technologies (MGPI) SA provides for corrective
maintenance of the dosimeters from a yearly fixed rate,
regardless of the type of failure encountered and num-
ber of instruments involved.
QUALIFICATIONS
The services provided by Mirion Technologies (MGPI)
SA comply with Quality Assurance system ISO 9001
certified by the AFAQ.
The organization of Mirion Technologies (MGPI) SA is
CEFRI-E certified in the field of qualification and moni-
toring of personnel working under ionizing radiation.
Mirion Technologies (MGPI) SA is administratively re-
gistered as a «Vocational Training Organization» under
Record No. 91530525013.
The Mirion Technologies (MGPI) SA calibration labora-
tory is ISO IEC 17025 certified by COFRAC (certification
No. 2-1663 available at www.cofrac.fr).
