Introduction:
The Digital Monitor is designed to display the Glass Rate and Glass Total. By using a
sensor assembly, signals are sent to the control box from the Glass sensor. These
signals are then converted to produce the Glass Rate and Glass Total.
The Monitor is designed to be modular so that if one component becomes inoperative
the rest of the system will continue to operate and the inoperative component can easily
be replaced. It is easily configured for use on multiple pump systems.
After a simple calibration procedure the monitor will accurately display the Glass Rate
and Glass Totals. After the system has been calibrated it only needs to be checked
periodically for quality control. The monitor may need to be fine tuned if a different Yield
or Tex of Glass is used.
Optional Valve Configuration:
The CB-6000-GT Monitor can be configured with a special valve to send an air signal.
This feature is helpful for use with the auto gun configurations. It can also be used to
limit the amount of material applied to a part for a hand held system or sound an alarm.
This signal can be used to turn OFF a resin pump and chopper or ON/OFF some other
device. After counting up to a “Set Point” the number of counts the unit will then send a
signal.
Note: a Triggering package may be required for use with the auto gun configurations, as
well as the valves to control the gun.
If your system includes the special valve package proceed to “Quick Start - Set Point:”
for the Digital Readout, otherwise proceed to “Calibration – Glass Total & Rate:”
