Result 3:
Material delivered at the top and bottom of the stroke is not curing or curing more slowly than the material
delivered in the middle of the up- and down-stroke. Also thin areas of material might be noticeable
compared to the volume delivered in the middle of the stroke, see figure above.

Indicates: Low/no activator at top (T) and bottom (B) of the pump stroke.

Probable Cause:
There is no or improper accumulator effect in the activator system.

Solution: Check to be sure you are using the proper activator hose and it is the proper length.
Check for a restriction in the activator system.

Result 4:
Material delivered at the top and bottom of the stroke is hot (curing very rapidly). Also thin areas of
material might be noticeable compared to the volume delivered in the middle of the stroke, see figure
above.

Indicates: Low resin at the top (T) and bottom (B) of the pump stroke.

Probable Cause: There is no or improper accumulator effect in the adhesive system.

Solution: Check to be sure you are using the proper adhesive hose and it is the proper length.
Check for a restriction in the adhesive system.

Result 5:
Material delivered at the beginning of the down stroke is not curing normally. Also thin areas of material
might be noticeable compared to the volume delivered in the middle of the stroke.

Indicates: Low material delivery at the beginning of the pump stroke. Which pump will depend on
if it is curing slower or more quickly – slow cure means less activator, fast cure means less
adhesive.

Probable Cause: The pump fluid section is not being filled correctly.

Solution: Increase Ram / Air Lift pressure slightly until issue goes away. Check that Priming piston,
Priming seal and Relief washer are functioning correctly.
