Continue Metering Pump Assembly:
11. Insert the Piston Rod Spring into the Piston Rod.
12. Insert the 5/16” SS Ball (03021) into the Piston Body.
13. Screw the Piston Body onto the Piston Rod, compressing the Piston Rod Spring
onto the 5/16” SS Ball (03021)
14. Install the Piston Seal onto the threaded end of the Piston Body, spring side up
(see below).
15. Screw the Seal Retainer onto the Piston Body, hand tight.
16. Hold the Piston Rod with a wrench on the wrench flats, and tighten the Seal
Retainer with another wrench.
17. Insert the Piston Rod assembly into the Cylinder screwing the Outlet Body onto
the cylinder threads.
NOTE: Screw the Outlet body down until you feel the O-Ring start to compress –
do not over tighten.
18. Align the Outlet Body so the outlet port is one hex plate to the left of the inlet port
of the Inlet Body See Fig. 4.1
