3. XLOG SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Using a Windows computer, go to http://www.laurels.com/download-software.htm. Click on
xlogx_x_x.exe and do a Save File to your local disk. Double click on the saved file and
specify and unzip directory, such as C:\Program Files\XLog. This will unzip the installation
files in that directory. Open that directory and double-click on setup.exe. Specify another
directory, such as C:\XLog, and follow the prompts. You will be given the opportunity to
create and XLog shortcut icon on your desktop, which you should do. To launch XLog
software, simply click on the icon.
Context-sensitive online help is obtained for each XLog screen by clicking on a blank
portion of the screen and pressing the F1 key,

After clicking on the XLog shortcut icon, the above splash screen will appear for a few
seconds. Revisit http://www.laurels.com/download-software.htm from time to time to ensure
that your installed revision is the latest. If not, reinstall XLog.
