RJ-45 modular adaptors and cables
Modular adaptors are available from Equinox to convert RJ-45 modular jacks
to standard pinout configurations. These modular adaptors, when used with 8-
wire cables, provide the functions shown in Figures B.1 through B.3. Adaptors
are available for use with:
• CAT 5 cable.
• Serial reversing cable. Reversing adaptors and cables are recommended
for distances greater than 100 feet.
