Installation and service must be performed by authorized
personnel only. These units must be installed in
accordance with the National Electrical Code and with
local electrical codes.
N
These wall plates are passive devices and do not provide
buffering or other processing.
To install the WPB wall plates do the following:
Step 1
Select the site and run cables
through the wall or furniture where the
wall plate will be installed.
Step 2
Prepare the site.
a. Cut a hole (see pages 4-6 for templates), and install an electrical
box or mud ring/mounting bracket. Cable clamps should be
used to hold the cables in place for strain relief.
b. Trim back and/or insulate exposed cable shields with heat
shrink to reduce the chance of short circuits.
Step 3
Temporarily attach the input cables
to the front panel connectors.
Step 4
Connect the terminated output cables
to the wall plate rear panel
connectors or to the BNC pigtails, as appropriate.

WPB 301-302).
• S-video input on a 4-pin mini-DIN connector is output on a 4-pin
mini-DIN connector (WPB 101, WPB 102, WPB 106, WPB 201,
WPB 301-302).
• Unbalanced audio input from RCA connectors is output on
female RCA connectors (WPB 101-102, WPB 106-108,
WPB 201-202, WPB 301-302).
