Parallel Port Mode [ECP]

Allows you to select the Parallel Port mode.

Configuration options: [Normal] [Bi-Directional] [EPP] [ECP]

ECP Mode DMA Channel [DMA3]

Appears only when the Parallel Port Mode is set to [ECP]. This item

allows you to set the Parallel Port ECP DMA.

Configuration options: [DMA0] [DMA1] [DMA3]

Parallel Port IRQ [IRQ7]

Allows you to select parallel port IRQ. Configuration options: [IRQ5] [IRQ7]

ASM4131 Mode [Disabled]

Allows you to enable or disable the ASM4131 mode. When you enable the

ASM4131 mode, the ASMedia Color Enhancement Technology enhances the

colors in display. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]

PCI PnP

The PCI PnP menu items allow you to change the advanced settings for PCI/PnP

devices. The menu includes setting IRQ and DMA channel resources for either

PCI/PnP or legacy ISA devices, and setting the memory size block for legacy ISA

devices.

Take caution when changing the settings of the PCI PnP menu items. Incorrect

field values can cause the system to malfunction.

If you use onboard VGA, before installing Vista OS, ensure that the ASM4131

Mode item is set to [Disabled]. When using Vista OS, ensure to install the Intel

VGA driver from the motherboard support CD. After the installation, you may set

the ASM4131 Mode item to [Enabled].

When the ASM4131 Mode is enabled, the onboard VGA provides Max. 1600 x

1200 dpi resolution.
