1.
Verify hardware received against the Bill of Material list above and completely read
this instruction sheet before proceeding.
2.
Safely raise vehicle on lift, remove wheels.
3.
Un-bolt the upper and lower shock bolts and remove the OEM shocks from the
vehicle (Fig. 1).
4.
Remove upper ball joint retain bolt (Fig 2).
5.
Remove emergency brake cable retaining bolt.
6.
Remove sway bar nut (Fig. 3).
7.
Remove brake line upper retaining clip.
8.
Remove spring while pressing firmly down on axel.
9.
Remove OEM coil spring isolator and replace with new Coil Spring Spacer (Fig. 4).
10.
It will be necessary to compress the spring to re-install it (Fig. 5)
11.
Re-attach the upper ball joint, the emergency brake cable retaining bolt, sway bar nut,
and brake line retaining clip.

WARNING

trucks. This vehicle handles differently from an ordinary vehicle in driving
conditions which may occur on streets, highways and off road.
Avoid unnecessary abrupt maneuvers, sudden stops, sharp turns and other
driving conditions that could cause loss of control, possibly leading to a roll over
or other accident that could result in serious injury or death to driver and
passengers.
If larger tires are installed the speedometer will read lower than the vehicles
actual speed.
