INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BUICK RENDEZVOUS
1. Move the passenger seat to the rearmost setting.
2. Remove the front two seat track bolts that secure the seat to the seat frame box and set aside.
3. Gently lift the front of the seat upward to allow the seat frame to clear the studs. If this is too difficult, stop and
loosen the rear seat bolts of the seat to allow the front of the seat to gain clearance.
4. Place the base between the seat tracks and seat box frame and align the holes.
5. Lower the seat back down and replace the mounting hardware previously set aside.
6. Fully tighten factory hardware to secure base in place along with seat frame. If you loosened the rear seat bolts, do
not forget to re-tighten these as well.
7. Attach the RAM-VB-SB4 riser to base with the provided carriage bolts, washers, and nuts. For a finished look, install
the carriage bolts with the rounded tops facing upward.
1. Attach the riser included in your kit to the No-Drill™ base and set aside.
2. Move the passenger side seat to its most forward position.
3. Using an 18MM socket, loosen the two rear nuts holding the passenger seat frame to the floor board. Loosen them
until the top of the nut is flush with the top of the bolt.
4. Move the passenger side seat all the way back. Using the 18MM socket, remove the two nuts holding the front of
the seat frame to the floor board. Once these are removed, gently lift the front of the seat off the floor.
5. Place the base in between the floor and seat frame, over the floor studs. Use the two slots that are passing in the
same direction. The mounting platform with riser should be near the center console area.
6. Lower seat back over the studs and re-tighten the two nuts previously removed.
7. Move the seat as far forward as the mount will allow and re-tighten the two rear seat frame nuts.
8. Move the seat back to a normal or comfortable location.
Please note that once installed, some seat travel may be limited due to the position of the riser. Be careful when
adjusting the seat to avoid being pinched between the seat lever and riser.
