L Center cap plate (CTR-0281), approxi-
mately 262 lb (118.84 kg) P 3/8 x 1 in. bolt with sealing washer (S-7487)
M Center cap plate (CTR-0325), approxi-
mately 145 lb (65.77 kg)
25.Align the three side cap plates (Q, R and S) to the side of the center cap plates (L and M) on the
center collar assembly.
26.Apply a strip of tube caulk (N) along the row of holes on the three side cap plates as shown.
27.Install two splice plates (T and U) over the fresh strip of caulks (N), and install bolts (P) and nuts (A)
securing the side plates (Q, R and S) and the splice plates (T and U).
28.Repeat this procedure for installing the three side cap plates to the other side of the center cap
plates (L and M).
NOTE: Make sure the side cap plates (R and S) and splice plates (T and U) are aligned in respective
positions on both sides of the center cap plates as shown.
