• Slightly sway the iron back and forth, until wa-

ter goes out of the water tank (12).

• Place the iron on the base (11) and let it cool

down completely.

• When the sole (14) cools down completely,

wipe it with a dry cloth.

• Before you take the iron away for storage,

make sure that there is no water in the water
tank (12) and that the iron sole (14) is com-
pletely dry.

Cleaning and care
• Before cleaning the iron, make sure that it is

turned off and has cooled down completely.

• Wipe the iron’s body with a slightly damp

cloth and then wipe dry.

• Sediment on the iron sole can be removed

with a cloth soaked in vinegar-water solution.

• After removing sediment, polish the sole with

a dry cloth.

• Do not use abrasive substances to clean the

sole and body of the iron.

• Avoid touching the iron sole with sharp metal

objects.

Storage
• Set the temperature control (10) to the “MIN”

position, and the constant steam supply control
(3) to the “

” position (steam supply is off).

• Remove the plug from the socket.

• Open the water tank lid (2), turn over the iron

and pour out any remaining water from the
water tank (12). Close the lid (2).

• Set the iron vertically and allow it to cool com-

pletely.

• Wind the power cord of the device (Fig. 8).

• Store the iron vertically in a dry cool place out

of reach of children and disabled persons.
