SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the device, read this instruction
carefully and keep it for future reference.
• Before switching on the device, make sure
that your home electricity supply corresponds
to the operating voltage of the iron.
• The power cord is equipped with a euro plug;
insert it into the socket with a secure grounding.
• In order to avoid fire risk, do not use adapters
when connecting the device to the socket.
• In order to avoid mains overloading, provide
that no other electrical appliances with higher
power consumption are connected to the
same outlet the device is connected to.
• Do not use the device if the plug or the power
cord is damaged or if there are other dam-
ages in the device.
• Use the device only for the intended purpos-
es, as stated in the instruction.
• Place the iron on a flat stable surface or use
the ironing board.
• Never leave the operating iron unattended.
• When filling the water tank with water, always
unplug the device.
• The water tank lid should be closed during the
ironing.
• Do not fill the water tank with scented liquids,
vinegar, starch solution, descaling reagents,
chemical agents etc.
• Avoid contact with hot surfaces or outgoing
steam of the iron in order to avoid getting
burns.
• Provide that the power cord is not hanging
over the edge of the ironing board and make
sure that it does not touch hot surfaces.
• Before plugging/unplugging the iron to the
mains, set the temperature control to the
“MIN” position, and the constant steam sup-
ply control to the “
” position (constant
steam supply is off).
• Always unplug the iron if it is not being used.
• To unplug the iron always take its plug, do not
pull the power cord.
• In order to avoid electric shock do not im-
merse the device into water or other liquids.
• Before taking the iron away for keeping, let
the device cool down and pour out the re-
maining water.
• Pour out water only after unplugging the de-
vice.
• Do not use the device after it fell, if there are
visible damages in the device or in case of
leakage.
• In order to avoid electric shock do not repair
the device yourself. If there are some dam-
ages in the device apply to the authorized
service center.
• Do not allow children to use the device as a
toy.
• This device is not intended for usage by
children or disabled persons. In exceptional
cases a person who is responsible for safety
should give them all necessary instructions
on safety measures and information about
danger, which can be caused by improper us-
age of the device. Do not permit them to use
the device unattended.
• Store the iron vertically in a dry cool place out
of reach of children and disabled persons.
• The device is intended for household use
only.
Before first use
• Unpack the iron; remove the protection (if
any) from the iron sole (14).
• Make sure that the electrical supply voltage
corresponds to the iron operating voltage.
Note:
- When using the device for the first time, the
heating element of the device burns that is
why some smoke or foreign odor can appear.
It is normal.
