Diagnosis
b.Current value > 22 mA
- Check all connections and the connection line to the sensor.
- When the red failure lamp still lights, separate the sensor from the
connection line and connect a resistor of 1 k Ω .
When the signal lamp extinguishes, the sensor is defect. Check the
connected sensor.
- When the failure lamp continues to light, connect the sensor again.
Separate the signal conditioning instrument from the connection line and
connect a resistor of 1 k
Ω to the sensor input.
- When the failure lamp still lights, the signal conditioning instrument is
defect. In this case return the instrument for repair to VEGA.
- When the failure lamp extinguishes, there is probably a shortcircuit in
the connection line. Check the connection line to the sensor.

Sensor defect, Check the internal connections:

react on level • Loosen the three screws with a screwdriver and pull the oscillator
changes out of the housing. With flat pliers you can easily pull the oscillator out of
the housing. Touch the oscillator on the extension of the separating
wall between the sensor connections.
