5. Using a wrench or channel locks disconnect the rod from the rack and pinion.
6. Now that you have removed the rod from the rack and pinion disconnect inner rod that holds
the boot. Remove boot from the rod.
7. Connect the yoke to the rack and pinion. Use the 16 x 1.5 x 30mm socket head bolt and loctite
provided in the kit.
WARNING !!!
IMPORTANT: For the rod to function properly and to prevent driving hazards
the yoke needs to be connected in the manner shown in photo. The “ears” of the yoke need
to be horizontal to the control arms when the arms are at full extension. You will need to
perform a function test on the arms to check for proper alignment and binding at the end of
the installation
