21. Upon filling the radiator, make sure there are no air pockets that can cause a false

full level on the radiator. Also be sure that the overflow bottle is filled to the
appropriate level.

NOTE: It will probably be necessary to idle the ATV after your initial fill to
circulate the fluid and remove air pockets. It is a good idea to keep track of total fluid
added to know you have added at least close to the original capacity.

TESTING:
Test the new radiator and fan by letting the ATV idle until the fan cycles on and off.
Recheck for leaks at hose connections and verify the radiator is still full of fluid. Do
not ride the ATV on any trips until testing of the new radiator is complete.

Recommended Additional Accessories
Coolant Temp Gauge: It is highly recommended to install a coolant temp gauge.
High Lifter offers such a gauge separately, and the radiator comes with a fitting for
the sensor. Instructions for the installation of this come with the kit.

WARNING:
1. Use caution as the fluid is now under pressure.
2. The sides of the radiator get hot and could burn if they are touched.
