• Clip Metadata: it displays metadata linked to the clip.
The full view includes the Clip Information pane, the Clip Options pane
and the Clip Metadata pane.

The following tables describe briefly the data that can be added to ingests.
The Clip Information pane contains the following fields:
Field Description
ID LSM ID, i.e. location where the clip will be stored on the
XNet network. This numbering is based on the numbering of
the LSM operational mode.
Tape ID Identifier for the archive tape on which the backup file
corresponding to the clip element is stored.
Name User-defined 24-character name for the ingest block.
UmID Unique Material Identification. UmID is a fixed length 8–

ID. The XT[2] server automatically assigns a

each new clip element. It is used for the unique
i d e n t i f i c a t i o n
of an clip element on an XNet network.
Var ID VarID is a 32-character ID with variable length and format. It
is automatically assigned to new clip elements. It is mainly
used to ensure redundancy on the system. It can be unique
for an clip element on the XT[2] server level or on the XNet
network level, depending on XT[2] server settings.
Scheduled On Displays all the ingest channels configured through the
Remote Installer. Check marks indicate the channels on
which the ingest are scheduled. You can still change the
selection in the Ingest window.
One-Shot tab Displays the start time, stop time, duration and date of the
One-Shot ingest.
Repeat tab Displays the From date, To date, start time, stop time,
duration and days of the week on which the Repeat ingest is
scheduled.
Repeat Every
tab
Displays the From date and time, To date and time, Every
time value, duration and days of the week on which the
Repeat Every ingest is scheduled.
