Remote Computer Communication (RS-232)
supply operating as a source delivers energy into a load, and as a sink it
operates as an electronic load, absorbing and dissipating energy from the
load. To minimize energy dissipation, the Model 4Q12125PS employs
energy recuperation, where energy from an active load is passed backward
through the output circuit and the bidirectional input power factor
correcting circuit to the power line. This technology allows high power
levels using switch-mode technology while maintaining high efficiency and
reduced size and weight.
