are correctly selected.
Changing Sample Rates
The Mac driver for the DMAN2044 supports two sample rates: 44.1 kHz
and 48 kHz. If you are using Cubase 3.xx and wish to switch between
these rates, do the following:
1.) Under the Cubase Audio menu go down and select System. This will
bring up the Audio System set-up dialog box.
2.) At the middle right of this screen you will see the "Sample Rate:" call-
out. Pull the menu down below this and you can now select the desired
sample rate.
For Cubase 4.xx
Cubase and ASIO supports multiple drivers and devices. You need to
select which one will be active at any given time. So even if you have
installed the DMAN2044 ASIO driver you must make sure it is properly
selected as the “active” driver. To do this (after you have properly
copied the ASIO driver into the ASIO folder) you need to bring up the
“System” dialog box which is under the Options menu. At the upper
right of this box you will see “ASIO Device”. You need to make sure that
“ASIO 2044” is selected and displayed under this pull down menu. If
this is not done, the DMAN2044 will not function as your active sound
card device.
Cubase 4.xx Switching Between Input Pairs
If you are using Cubase and have properly installed the appropriate
ASIO driver, then you may wish to select which stereo input pair (1 and
2 or 3 and 4) is active. You can do this within the Cubase program itself
in the following manner:
1.) Under the Cubase Options menu, go down to Audio Setup and in the
expanded menu to the right, select System. This will bring up the Audio
System set-up dialog box.
2.) On the upper right of this box you will see a button labeled “Launch”.
Click on this. This will bring up the “DMAN2044 Settings” mixer control
panel. In it you can set many things, including the Playback and
Monitor levels of each channel (but this is not what we are concerned
with here).
3.) At the bottom right of this DMAN2044 Settings panel is a pair of radio
